Apple Blossoms and Ground Phlox

Are they anything more beautiful than Apple Blossoms? These ones are from the Crabtree just outside my window. We planted the tree the year we moved here and it gets more gorgeous every year.

Outside my front step is this lovely carpet of Ground Phlox. I saw an old cemetery this weekend that was just covered in it. I love the contrast of the fresh pink and the old white stones. There is beauty everywhere, you just have to keep your eyes open.

Hmmm, do I feel an inspiration coming on? I must go check my yarn stash! Gotta go!!!

Gorgeous Flowers .. I have a few seeds to grow my own Ground Phlox and forgot to put them in soil! I did start some Cosmos seeds and some cat grass, which are doing nicely. I don't really have much of a green thumb but it's fun to try.
