Dutchman's Breaches (Dicentra cucullaria) grows readily here, especially on interval land and near creek beds. It is the wild version of the Bleeding Heart variety that we all have in our gardens. A very dainty looking plant, but extremely hardy. It's obvious why it's called Dutchman's Breaches with it's dainty white blooms hanging like a pair of inflated trousers on the clothes line!
