Grampa's Peonies

I dug this Peony out of my Great Grandfather's garden years after he died. The smell of Peonies always takes me back to those happy childhood days spent with him.

Here is an example of my patterns. This is a pretty basic one, so it has half the pictures that a normal one does. It doesn't, however, have the pattern for the flower, or the tutorial for felting that nomally comes with a pattern purchase. I can't give it all away, now can I? A girl has to make a living! If anybody chooses to make this purse I would love to see that finished product! Enjoy and happy crocheting!

Daylilies

I took this picture at our local Golf Course today! Isn't it the most spectacular display? I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but these are really striking.

Lupines and a Little Piece of Wildlife

Lupines, a staple of Maritime living, found all along the roadsides and ditches across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. I captured a picture of these pink ones and didn't realize I caught a piece of wildlife too. Look in the upper left hand corner!I couldn't capture a picture like that if I tried!

Neck Warmer

I'm in the middle of writing a new pattern for a neck warmer. I think it has a real Victorian feel, but in this colour you could wear it dressed up, or down. The pattern should be available later this week in my Etsy shop. I may even sell some of my prototypes!
